Yué Wu x BYBORRE
Borre Akkersdijk of BYBORRE and artist and illustrator Yué Wu have known each other for years and have played an important part in eachothers lives and careers. These scarves are both a celebration of borderless and cultureless friendship as well as an important step for BYBORRE to push graphical representation on a fabric innovation level.
WEARsustain Prototype Scarf
The WEARsustain project focused on using technology as a means of changing behaviour and incentivising consumers to interact with the concept of sustainability in a playful manner.
BROWNS EAST LONDON
BYBORRE launches at Browns East London; the first drop on UK soil starts with AW18: The On-Pattern Edition™.
ON-PATTERN | AW18
This Autumn/Winter Edition, BYBORRE introduces the newly engineered 3D Knit On-Pattern. This technique has been applied to their evolving collection of archetype styles.
The Spring/Summer 2018 collection is the evolution of the BYBORRE archetypes introduced in the BETA collection, with new fabrics, colours, details like hidden pockets, and an evolved fit.
Flipping the paradigm of a stationary Paris Fashion Week showroom, Byborre has been showcasing their collections in a branded, outfitted truck, dubbed the Mobile Showroom, that freely drives around the streets of Paris.
The First Cycle
The First Cycle was not only Borre Akkerdijk’s first Paris Fashion Week show but it was also the first collection to publicaly start telling the story of Byborre from the yarn to final garment.
